DLC Season 1: Regional Prize Cards

The 2024-2025 Disney Lorcana Challenge (or "DLC") season marked the game's first full year of high-level organized competition, establishing the competitive structure that would define Lorcana's early tournament history. Players competed in large regional DLC events across North America and Europe for invitations to the Continental Championships and, ultimately, the inaugural World Championship. The season also introduced a distinctive series of exclusive prize cards, with increasingly scarce promos awarded for participation and progressively higher finishes. For collectors, the season is especially significant because these cards represent Lorcana's first true competitive "trophy" cards, tying their scarcity and provenance directly to achievement during the game's formative competitive era.

Prize Structure:

• Mickey Mouse - Brave Little Tailor (5/C1, Gold Serialized): Top finishers — initially Top 8 at larger events and Top 4 at smaller events.
• Rapunzel - Gifted With Healing (4/C1): Generally Top 32 at larger Challenges / Top 16 at smaller events.
• Cinderella - Stouthearted (3/C1): Generally Top 64 at larger Challenges / Top 32 at smaller events.
• Let It Go (2/C1): Strong Swiss performance -- roughly Top 128 at the largest events, with the threshold varying by event size.
• Dragon Fire (1/C1): Participation at DLC events.

Prize thresholds changed depending on tournament size. For example, at a 1,025+ player event the gold serialized Mickey could go to Top 8, while at events of 1,024 or fewer it went to Top 4.
